Administrative Support Clerk
Century Products is seeking a reliable and detail oriented Administrative Support Clerk to support our Accounting team. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records processing customer payments and supporting daily accounting operations in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
What You Will Do
Process and apply customer payments accurately Prepare and send invoices and account statements Maintain accounts receivable records and aging reports Communicate with customers regarding balances and payment status Research and resolve billing or payment discrepancies Perform data entry and maintain organized financial records Support month end processes and general accounting tasks
What We Are Looking For
High school diploma or GED required
One of the following preferred Associate degree in Accounting or Business Accounting or bookkeeping certification Two years of accounting accounts receivable or office experience
Basic understanding of invoicing payments and customer accounts preferred Strong attention to detail and organization Basic computer skills including Excel and email Ability to communicate professionally with customers and team members Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

Purpose
The Administrative Support Clerk provides administrative and accounting support with a primary focus on accounts receivable functions. This position is responsible for processing customer payments maintaining accurate financial records supporting collections activity and assisting with general accounting tasks. The role requires strong attention to detail organization reliability and the ability to work with financial data in a confidential and accurate manner. The Administrative Support Clerk plays a key role in supporting cash flow and ensuring timely and accurate recording of customer transactions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Process customer payments including checks electronic payments and other forms of payment. Apply payments accurately to customer accounts. Prepare and send customer invoices and statements. Maintain and reconcile accounts receivable records. Assist with monitoring aging reports and supporting collection efforts. Communicate with customers regarding account balances payment status and inquiries. Research and resolve discrepancies in billing and payments. File and maintain customer records invoices and financial documentation. Perform data entry into accounting systems and spreadsheets. Assist with month end close support tasks related to accounts receivable. Support the Accounting Manager with administrative tasks and special projects. Follow all company policies regarding confidentiality financial records and data security.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word Excel and email. Ability to learn company accounting systems and processes. Strong attention to detail and organization. Ability to maintain confidentiality with financial information. Basic math skills and ability to review numbers for accuracy. Strong communication skills for customer interaction. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Dependable attendance and punctuality.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.

- Basic understanding of invoicing payments and customer account management preferred. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general computer systems required. Ability to handle financial information professionally.
Physical Requirements
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. • Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds (files, samples, or materials). • Regular use of standard office equipment including computer, phone, and copier.
Work Environment
This position operates primarily in an office environment. Limited exposure to warehouse or production areas may occur for verification or communication purposes.
