Position Title: Front of House Supervisor
Reports To: Front of House Manager
Compensation: Hourly – Minimum 40 hours per week required
Position Summary
The Front of House (FOH) Supervisor supports the FOH Manager in overseeing all aspects of the restaurant’s front-of-house operations. This role ensures high-quality guest service, effective staff supervision, cleanliness, and efficiency, with a strong focus on inventory, food presentation, and day-to-day operations.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar supervisory role
Excellent guest service and interpersonal communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
High standards of personal hygiene and appearance
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
Experience with POS systems preferred
Must hold valid food handler certification and alcohol license
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Must pass a background check in accordance with Kaw Nation Gaming Commission requirements for a gaming license
Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop, and walk
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Education and experience may be considered in combination
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist the FOH Manager with daily operations of the restaurant
Supervise front-of-house team members, including scheduling, training, and performance oversight
Ensure all opening and closing procedures are properly executed
Oversee cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of the FOH area
Manage daily cash handling procedures and POS system accuracy
Maintain inventory and ensure adequate par levels for FOH supplies
Keep alcohol license records updated; coordinate with HR for renewals
Ensure all FOH staff maintain valid food and alcohol certifications
Monitor and enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards
Provide training and ongoing support for FOH staff across all shifts
Lead by example with a professional demeanor and appearance
Step in to assist with register operations during peak periods
Provide excellent guest service and resolve customer complaints
Communicate clearly and effectively with staff, guests, and management
Collaborate closely with the FOH Manager to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Maintain quality assurance for all items served
Forecast food and beverage needs to ensure proper stock levels
Demonstrate strong leadership and delegation skills
Maintain positive working relationships with guests, team members, and vendors
Ensure gaming badge is visibly worn while on duty
