This position involves a broad range of responsibilities including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and training support.
- Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Coordinate and execute recruitment strategies for various casino departments.
- Manage job postings, conduct candidate screenings, and schedule interviews.
- Facilitate new hire orientations and onboarding processes.
- Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and inquiries.
- Support a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution.
- Assist in investigations and ensure timely documentation and resolution.
- HR Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with state gaming regulations, labor laws, and internal policies.
- Maintain and update employee records, including licensing and certifications.
- Assist with internal and external audits as needed.
- Training & Development:
- Coordinate training sessions and track employee participation.
- Support leadership in developing and implementing employee development programs.
- Benefits & Compensation Support:
- Provide assistance with benefit enrollment, questions, and claims issues.
- Process payroll changes and assist in compensation reviews as necessary.
- HR Reporting & Analytics:
- Prepare regular HR metrics and reports for management.
- Monitor employee turnover, retention, and performance data.
- 2+ years of HR experience, preferred
- Working knowledge of employment laws, HR practices,
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
