Rock and Brews Casino/ KGI, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Support Specialist to join our Human Resources team. This role provides administrative and operational support to ensure the effective delivery of HR services across the property. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR department.
- Assist in recruiting activities including job postings, scheduling interviews, onboarding, and orientation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in both physical and digital formats.
- Support benefits administration and respond to employee inquiries related to benefits, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinate employee training sessions, compliance tracking, and recordkeeping.
- Assist in employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and internal communications.
- Help facilitate investigations and disciplinary actions by preparing documentation and maintaining records.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as internal policies and procedures.
- Assist with timekeeping and payroll support tasks.
- Associate’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 1–2 years of HR or administrative support experience (casino/hospitality experience a plus).
- Knowledge of HR principles and practices, employment laws, and recordkeeping.
- Strong computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Office environment within a casino setting
- May require occasional walking through the gaming floor and interaction with staff across departments
