Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred with two (3) years of managerial experience. A combination of education and experience may be substituted.Candidate must be able to pass extensive background check in accordance with Kaw Nation Gaming Commission regulations to obtain gaming license and pre-employment testing. Knowledge of food preparation required. Flexibility to work any shift as needed or assigned. (Includes weekends/nights/ and holidays). Frequent lifting may occasionally be required to lift in excess of 50 pounds. Requires frequent bending, stooping, and walking, and must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
Required to have training with company Branding. Responsibilities and Duties
Food & Beverage Director directs and oversees all aspects of the organizations, food, and beverage department, adheres to quality and safety standards, makes sure the food & beverage product lines contribute to the profitability of the company. To ensure the guests of KGI Rock and Brews Casino are receiving quality service. Any questions or concerns should be directed to your immediate supervisor for clarification.
Create, implement, and monitor departmental budgets.
Ensure all food cost ratios are properly set.
Maintains guest satisfaction by monitoring, evaluating, and auditing food, beverages, and service.
Provides input to the General Manager and department heads concerning operational deficiencies and areas in need of attention.
Complete and submit monthly inventories in a timely and efficient manner.
Complete monthly report to the General Manager.
Assist with the proper training of employees of all shifts.
Ensure all machines are maintained and in working order.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Keep up with any changes that may be required.
Ensure all food is served properly and temperature is in, compliance, and meets the branding standards.
Assist fellow employees and guests as needed.
Work the grill or serving line as needed.
Responsible for monitoring, stocking, and cleaning area.
Run a register when needed to keep lines moving and guests happy.
Ensures that the highest possible standards of guest services and employee relations are maintained and carried out in fair and equitable manner.
Responsible for having meals prepared.
Requires confidentiality at all times while handling company information.
Ensure compliance of health and food standards.
Oversee and coordinate entire food service operation.
Initiate and maintain a professional work environment while communicating with subordinates, coworkers, management, guests, vendors, and other departments while on duty.
Position may require working nights, weekends and holidays as required.
Gaming badge must be worn on upper left quadrant while on duty.
