You’ll work in a fast-paced kitchen preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner items with consistency and attention to food safety.
- Prepare made-to-order meals such as burgers, sandwiches, eggs, pancakes, and other short order items.
- Operate grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow standardized recipes and portion control guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all health and safety standards are met.
- Stock and restock stations with necessary supplies.
- Communicate effectively with front counter staff and other kitchen team members.
- Ensure orders are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist with inventory rotation and food storage.
- Previous experience as a short order cook or line cooks preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Strong time management and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Lift up to 40 lbs. as needed.
- Work in a hot and noisy kitchen environment.
