Grinder

• Operates various grinding tools to clean and finish castings
• Grinds castings to groove, bevel, round, or straighten edges and removes excess projections, such as gates, fins, and parting lines
• Completes final rough finishes and polishes metal castings
• Prepares and transports metal castings to the shipping department for final inspections
• Pay starting at $13/hour

Requirements of the position are as follows:

1. High school diploma or GED required.
2. Must be at least 18 years of age.
3. Understanding of and ability to read shop orders required.
4. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
5. Must be physically able to stand for long periods of time.
6. Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment.
