Position Title: Facilities/Maintenance Manager

************************************************************************************* Position Summary The Environmental Services (EVS) Manager is responsible for overseeing all cleanliness, sanitation, and environmental standards throughout the casino property. This role ensures a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests and team members while maintaining compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements. The EVS Manager leads, develops, and motivates the EVS team to deliver exceptional service aligned with the casino’s brand and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
Supervise, train, and mentor EVS supervisors and frontline team members.
Develop staff schedules to ensure 24/7 coverage of gaming floors, public areas, restrooms, back-of-house, and event spaces.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and corrective action when necessary.
Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and guest-focused service.
Operations Management
Oversee daily cleaning operations across gaming areas, restaurant, and public areas.
Ensure rapid response to spills, biohazards, and guest service requests.
Monitor and maintain high-touch cleaning protocols in compliance with public health standards.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality and adherence to cleanliness standards.
Compliance & Safety
Maintain proper chemical handling, storage, and MSDS documentation.
Implement infection control and sanitation protocols.
Lead safety training and accident prevention initiatives.
Guest Experience
Ensure all areas are consistently maintained to enhance guest satisfaction.
Collaborate with Facilities, Security, Hotel Operations, and Food & Beverage teams to support events and peak business periods.
Address and resolve guest complaints related to cleanliness in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
3–5+ years of supervisory or management experience in Environmental Services, Housekeeping, or Facilities—casino or hospitality environment preferred.
Skills & Competencies

Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and sanitation standards.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Exposure to cleaning chemicals and loud casino environments.

24/7 operation requiring flexible scheduling.
