The Casino Host is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with casino guests, especially high-value players, to encourage repeat visits and enhance the overall guest experience. This role involves personalized service, promotion of casino events and amenities, and coordination with various departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing guests, with a focus on VIP and high-limit players.
- Track and evaluate guest play using player tracking systems to identify and reward high-value patrons.
- Invite and coordinate guest attendance at special events, promotions, and exclusive offers.
- Greet guests on the casino floor and always provide exceptional customer service.
- Resolve guest issues, concerns, or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Work closely with other departments including food and beverage and security to meet guest needs.
- Meet established goals for player development and reinvestment budgets.
- Maintain up-to-date records and reports of guest visits and preferences.
- Ensure compliance with all gaming regulations and company policies.
- Attend player events, interact with invited players, and provide guest service in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while performing the duties of casino host.
- Assist with other tasks as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, or a casino environment Required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Data Entry required.
- Event Coordination experience.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and sales skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in player tracking systems is a plus.
- Flexible schedule includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain required gaming licenses.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- May be required to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to work in a noisy, smoke-filled environment.
