Position Title: KGI Assistant Operations Manager
Reports To: KGI Operations Manager

Qualifications:
Preferred: Two years of advanced studies in business-related fields.
Required: Previous management experience; extensive retail management experience may substitute for education.
Must possess strong supervisory, customer service, and organizational skills, along with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Certification as a Type A/B Petroleum Operator is required, obtainable through OCC training.
Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check and pre-employment testing.
Ability to read fine print and lift 25 to 50 lbs.
Flexible availability to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Oversee overall operations of Travel Plaza properties, assuming full responsibility for operational procedures in the absence of the Operations Manager.
Review and maintain all timesheets, reports, and records generated at the Travel Plaza, ensuring compliance with State and Federal regulations.
Support purchasing activities and help implement KGI’s purchasing procedures for the Travel Plaza.
Assist in managing personnel functions including training, hiring, termination, and disciplinary actions in coordination with the KGI Human Resource Director.
Help complete monthly inventory for Travel Plaza properties and promptly submit results to the accounting department.
Collaborate with the KGI CEO/General Manager to develop budgets, advertising strategies, and personnel decisions such as hiring, firing, and disciplinary matters.
Properly manage vendor check-ins.
Perform retail and cost control duties.
Ensure outstanding guest service standards are consistently upheld internally and externally.
Assist with employee scheduling as needed.
Support effective employee training initiatives.
Maintain an active Oklahoma ABLE (alcohol) License and Food Handler’s certification.
Maintain professionalism and courtesy at all times with co-workers, customers, vendors, and other contacts during work hours.
Wear your name tag at all times while on duty or conducting company business.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
