Position Summary
The Inventory, Shipping & Warehouse Specialist is responsible for receiving, organizing, maintaining, and auditing inventory across the warehouse while supporting timely, accurate shipping and receiving operations. This role supports eCommerce, operations, and warehouse efficiency by helping manage inventory flow, pallet racking, shipping execution, and cross-departmental support as needed.

Position Summary
The Inventory, Shipping & Warehouse Specialist is responsible for receiving, organizing, maintaining, and auditing inventory across the warehouse while supporting timely, accurate shipping and receiving operations. This role supports eCommerce, operations, and warehouse efficiency by helping manage inventory flow, pallet racking, shipping execution, and cross-departmental support as needed.
Shipping & Receiving
- Pack and ship all outgoing orders within 24 hours
- Review and select the most cost-effective shipping methods
- Ensure all items are properly packaged to prevent damage
- Receive, label, and organize incoming freight
- Verify packing slips for pallets and gaylord boxes prior to photographing or processing
- Accept, process, and relist returned inventory
- Deliver orders to local clients as needed
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and locations
- Perform ongoing and scheduled inventory audits
- Remove, consolidate, and reorganize inventory as required
- Create inventory boxes, pallet labels, and racking labels
- Ensure pallets are labeled with job information and weight, facing outward
- Assist with pulling and prioritizing inventory for listing in coordination with the eCommerce Lead
- Support sorting and palletizing inventory for photography and listing
- Organize and maintain warehouse layout, including clear walkways and proper storage
- Build, alter, and relocate pallet racking, inventory, and equipment
- Ensure pallet racking is properly labeled with weight capacities
- Ensure forklifts and electric pallet jacks are fueled or charged
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, scissor lifts, and other equipment as needed
- Float to projects and departments as needed (shipping, inventory audits, unloading, listing support)
- Meet performance goals as outlined by management
- Perform all other tasks as assigned by management
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information
- General computer skills; Excel experience preferred
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret internal and client-related information

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- eCommerce experience preferred
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods
- Ability to climb ladders and work at varying heights
- Frequently move boxes or parts weighing up to 75 pounds
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a warehouse environment
